My plugin stopped working after installing Acabado. How can I get it working again?
Be very deliberate about the plugins you keep and the purpose they serve. If you have any plugins that are not ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to the site, take the time to deactivate and delete them. The goal is to have the minimum plugins possible. Most are simply not essential. Multiple plugins on your site it will negatively effect your speed and site performance.
Check for Updates
Technology is continually changing and updating. It is imperative to keep the themes and plugins on your site update to date to avoid service disruptions.
Plugin Updates
In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and verify that all plugins are up-to-date. Follow the prompts to update any necessary plugins.
Acabado Updates
In your WordPress dashboard go to Acabado Settings and verify that your are running the latest version of Acabado. If not, you can manually update your theme here:
Check for Conflicts
In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and do an audit of the plugins on your site. Temporarily deactivate all plugins on your site and clear your cache. If the issue corrects re-enable the plugins one at a time to find the conflict. If the issue persists then it’s likely that Acabado won’t work with this plugin. If you feel this plugin is necessary to your site, we are more than happy to provide a refund within 30 days of your Acabado purchase.
Enable jQuery
Acabado is designed to be super simple and super fast. However, to use some plugins you may need to enable jQuery. This isn’t enabled to save time on page loading, but you can re-enable it in Acabado Settings. See this tutorial for more information: Enabling jQuery .
